I just saw a vid of the new Kyosho Inferno DB, and i gotta say this class looks sick, SC trucks never were my thing but DB's look like a ton of fun...

and lets not forget losi coming out the class in small scale a year or so before it went huge, (thier micro DT and then SC racing)

It is a neat looking class of car to race, but really all it is, is a sc truck with a buggy body and with out the nerf bars. I would run it as it just looks cool as heck.

However from a racers stand point it would be a point less class now. I say that because we have 10th scale trucks and buggies that are glued to the track with an open wheel layout. The SC trucks are huge as they can be race more relaxed or in the case of many close together with out getting stuck together (in other words you can race/pass with less skill, but the more exp you have the faster you will go). The there is the 8th scale buggies witch is slowly becoming a major class although most people don't want to pay the price for one. Also at the end of the day ele class racing has more classes then ever right now, and there is no way to run them all on a race day (depending on what the local track gets for numbers), and 1 more class can hurt the classes that are already out there with number witch means that the race entries is the same but less people in each class (racers want more to race against, not less).

So in that regard that car will never be a race class, but it will make for a good bashing car.

idk about it never making it to a race class yes SC trucks are the same build, but they may bring new ppl into the SC racing scene, heck i'm not a huge fan of SC trucks, they look fuggly but this looks sweet if i could race side by side with a SC with this i would but i wouldn't race SC....

2wd buggy has been around since RC racing discovered dirt. Tamiya Frog and grasshoppers looked a lot like this buggy. Then Associated came out with the RC10 and the rest is history.

This buggy is cool looking but what would keep them as a separate class from B4's and XXX CR's?
