After a visit to HPI HQ today we gathered more information on the new 1/12-Scale Mini Trophy coming from HPI. This is not a replacement for the Blitz, heck it's not even a Short Course truck. It's modeled after an actual Desert Race truck. In an interesting partnership HPI and TSA Motorsports have been working on parrelel courses, TSA on the 1:1 truck and HPI on the 1:12. After taking a good look at the Mini-Trophy here are some key points:

Overall the truck has a very scale look and feel. We'll be anxious to get it out on the dirt. The new kit should be available in late July or early August, the estimated street price will be somewhere between $240 and $260 but that's not official.
