First let me start by saying great mag !I started my racing in the 1/10 4wheel buggy class with the XXX-4 but I had a hard time driving it and finally sold it out of frustration . So I started racing in the 1/10 truck class at my locale track " Circuit J.C. in Quebec Canada " for the last 4 years and wanted to try the 4wheel class again . With all the new 4wheel buggy's on the market XRC helped me decide on the D4 . The review was good " issue 144" and that was what i was looking for . I sold my MF2 and ran out and ordered a D4 . The next week I went race and for the first time in 4 years entered the 4 wheel class . I started at the back of the B main and clawed my way up to 5th . As the day went on the D4 went faster , finishing 4th then 3rd . I started in 3rd for the finals and with the track filled with XXX-4 's and laser's and one B44 , I led the whole race and finished in first to get the win . My wife usually makes my decisions for me but this time it was all XRC lol .
Hits Misses
• The D4 parts are strong and will stand up to the test .
• The body and parts look very good .
• Easy to drive fast . I used a Novak 5.5 lol .
• The only problem I had was the servo horn that the kit supplied wasn't the same hard plastic and stripping out .
