This was my first RC car, and it was the best RC buy ive ever made, still. period.
Got it, opened the box and sayed, wow! the body paint attention-to-detail is simply amazing, the purple chassis looks sweet aswell as the Geolandar Yokohama tires, as a whole, this truck looks so good that i wouldnt mind spending another 320 bucks just to let it in my living room as a beuty object.
ok, batteries in, tank is full, time to break in. Some people call me crazy, but my personal break in method is called, turn it on, put it on the ground and start riding. the first tank i didnt go more then 1/4 throttle, 2 tank i was using half throttle and 3 tank it was already going full throttle and top speed.
belive it or not, after this break in, i used the truck for a long time, sold it, and the guy that is riding it hasnt rebuild the engine till now. this T15 engine from HPI is more durable then a wood burning stove and just as fast as an .18, its easy to tune, go fast as you want, and last forever.
the AWD sistem is also a plus, easy to tune and very durable
brake wise, well, i stop right here.
suspension wise, yes, this is wise. at first you will look at it and say, "what? no different shock mount positions?"...well, i never felt is need to do such modification, cuz the stock positions are just good enought, suspension durability is impressive and tunability aswell.
the car as a whole is just amazing, gears, engine, geometry, everything.
all the time i had the truck, the only problem i had was that i hit one time a curb doing high speed, and the lower front block screw fell of, and the Rotostart broke a sprocket inside, but thats maybe because i held it pressed for too long, more then the recomended 5 seconds.
i truly recomend this truck to anyone that want a relatively cheap, fun to ride, 1/10 stadium truck to has no compromisse. Great RC. |

• Durability • easy to use and tune • looks and versatility, among other things |
• you have to double check the screws, cuz its RTR, and you better do it • Rotostart maybe (or not) • i cant think of anything else, im searching, but i don find |
